Token tax

Token tax is not calculated here yet. Province, vehicle class, and engine size change the amount, and TaxGuide will not invent one national figure.

Token tax is a motor-vehicle tax collected through provincial excise and taxation departments, and through the Islamabad administration where that applies. It is not the salaried income-tax slab.

The amount usually depends on:

• province or Islamabad
• vehicle type
• engine capacity or the class used in that province’s schedule
• the tax year or the assessment period printed on that schedule

A later TaxGuide calculator can take those inputs and apply a stored schedule. It will show the province, the effective dates, and the official notification. Until that rule set exists, use the provincial excise department for the vehicle you actually have.

Do not treat a calculator from another website as the source. Copying its numbers into TaxGuide would repeat someone else’s figure without a document.
