Which income tax page should I open?

Updated Sep 22, 2026 · TaxGuide

These five pages share one published salaried rule set. The difference is the question, not a second formula.

Salary Tax starts from monthly or annual pay. It annualizes the figure, applies the slab, and shows annual tax, monthly tax, and take-home.

Income Tax starts from income you already know for the year. Salaried individuals use the same slabs. A non-salaried result appears only after a sourced rule set for that taxpayer type is published.

Take-home salary answers what is left in the month. It uses the same tax, then subtracts any other monthly deductions you type in. Those extra deductions are yours to enter. They are not an FBR deduction unless you say they are.

FBR Tax is the same salaried calculation with the official document kept beside the result. It is not a separate tax.

Tax slabs is the table itself: the bands, the rate, the fixed tax, the tax year, and the source. Open it when you want the schedule, not a personal estimate.

TaxGuide does not publish a rupee figure for a tax until that schedule is stored as a versioned rule with an official source.

TaxGuide.pk provides informational estimates based on the selected tax year and published rules. Verify final tax obligations with official sources or a qualified tax professional.
